Michael L. Neal is a native of Chicago, Illinois; he currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Glorious Light Church, Chief Executive Officer of the Timothy Community Corporation (TCC) and the Executive Director of the Leading with Literacy Program (LWL).
He has witnessed the disparities and lack of resources in black and brown communities on the south side of Chicago. His desire to serve the community took him on a different path, He graduated from Moody Bible Institute with degree in Biblical Studies.
As the Senior Pastor and Founder of Glorious Light Church, he wanted to make sure that ministry extended beyond the four walls of the church.
In 2012 Pastor Neal founded the “Timothy Community Corporation NFP” a Community Development Corporation. The mission of the (TCC), is to strengthen communities by providing collaborative resources and access to innovative result-orientated health & wellness, leadership, and literacy programs.
Through a holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle, TCC recognizes the “Art” to being healthy. Our programs support the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of wellness with a focus on education and action. Seminars and workshops will address lived experiences of getting healthy, from navigating the healthcare system and modeling preventative care, to exercising and making appropriate food choices.
As the CEO of the TCC Michael has been instrumental in collaborating with various Health Care organizations and community partners to provide Health & Wellness Programs follow:
South Side Fit Program (SSF) in Partnership with the UChicago Medicine Urban Health Initiative Community Affairs which sponsors 50 community participants with weekly access to free fitness class at the TCC.
Fitness & Facts Initiative - Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center- Which provides Health Education on various topics, from medical providers at Northwestern Medicine Bimonthly
Sister Working it Out – Providing resources to women diagnosis with cancer in the areas of support, education, and quality preventive care.
TCC Fitness- Provides community-based fitness programs 3 days a week T/TH/SA with the following classes
Zumba, Yoga, Cycle, Kickboxing, Low-Impact, and Full Body workouts, Stretching, and Weight Training. To date the TCC serves annually 2500 patrons.

Deloris A. Neal is a Chicago native and accomplished operations executive with over 20 years of leadership experience across the nonprofit and healthcare sectors. Since January 2025, she has served as Chief Operating Officer of The Timothy Community Corporation NFP (TCC), following her volunteer service as Administrative Director from 2017 to 2024. In both roles, she has served as an executive volunteer, providing strategic direction, policy leadership, and operational oversight while mentoring emerging leaders and entrepreneurs.
In the healthcare arena, Deloris has a proven track record of leading patient access, revenue cycle management, and system integration initiatives across hospital systems and ambulatory networks throughout metropolitan Chicago. Her work has consistently driven operational improvements, enhanced the patient financial experience, and elevated organizational performance.
A passionate advocate for holistic community wellness, Deloris embraces her role as a visionary supporter, someone who transforms purpose and passion into actionable strategies. At TCC, she champions programs that cultivate leadership, promote health and wellness, and encourage creative expression—fostering social impact and strengthening community resilience.
Deloris holds a Bachelor of Science in Administrative Management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois. She has been married for thirty-one years and is the proud mother of two daughters and one grandson.
She firmly believes that collaborative partnerships and intentional community investment are essential to building a culture of care, connection, and shared success.
